Ingredients

  • Salt, 1 pinch
  • 1 Egg (large)
  • Dried fruit, 50 grams
  • Flour, 200 grams
  • Sugar , 75 grams
  • Margarine, 75 grams
  • Baking Powder (mixed with flour), 5 grams

method

Sieve the flour , baking powder and salt.

Rub in the margarine to a sandy texture. Add the sugar.

Gradually add the egg and mix in little by little.

Using a fork, place onto a greased baking sheet into shapes and coat using milk or egg wash.

Bake in a fairly hot oven at 220 degrees for 20 minutes.

Place the sheet out and let the cakes cool.
