  • Sugar , 1 cup
  • Butter, 125 grams
  • Golden Syrup, 1 tea spoon
  • Bicarbonate of Soda
  • Flour, 2 cups
  • 1 Eggs
  • Ground Cinnamon, 1 tea spoon
  • Ground Ginger, 2 tea spoons



Stir the dry ingredients in a bowl.

Stir the sugar rub in the butter.Stir in the egg and the syrup and mix well.

Using a rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls,flatten slightly and place on trays three cm apart.

Bake in oven for about 20 minutes.
