Boil the cabbage leaves in boiling water for about 7 min.Drain and cool.
Boil rice until half done. Chop the onions and mix with meat, rice and herbs.
Season with salt, pepper and cinnamon.
Add the olive oil and work in with the hands.Put a leaf in your hand, put some filling in the center of the leaf and fold the stem in first and then the two sides, rolling as tightly as possible.
Put closely together in a sauce pan.
Barely cover with water, put a weight on to prevent them from unrolling.
Cook slowly for about an hour.
Serve with an egg and lemon sauce.
