- Mix rice , onions and garlic in a bowl of a slow cooker . Pour chicken stock into a small saucepan and bring to boil over high heat.
- stir boiling liquid ,Italian seasoning and basil into mixture. cover and cook on low setting for 2-3 hours until liquid is absorbed stir in the peas. cover and cook for 1 hour. stir in cheese spoon into serving dish and sprinkle with pine nuts.
