  • Water, 2 cups
  • Regular rice, 1 cup
  • Salt, 1 tea spoon

method

  1. Heat the water to boiling, combine with rice and salt in 11/2 quart casserole.
  2. Cover dish tightly with casserole lid or aluminium foil (lid/ foil must be tight enough to prevent vapor escape)
  3. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 25-30 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Fluff with fork.
