Ingredients

  • Margarine, 120 grams
  • Flour, 125 grams
  • Milk, 1 pint
  • Sugar , 90 grams
  • 9 Eggs (separated)
  • Oranges

method

Melt the margarine in a saucepan.

Stir n the flour and cook for 2 min.


Gradually add the milk while stirring and bring to boil and cook yet again for a minute.
Remove from the heat and stir in the orange juice and rind then add the sugar.
Allow to cool slightly , beat in the egg yolks. Whisk the egg whites until stiff then fold it gently into the egg yolk mixture.

Grease the pie dish and dust with sugar, pour in the mixture into the dishes and place in oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven after time lapsed and place on cooling rack.

Decorate with fruit shavings and serve.
