vanilla icecream

45 minutes


  • Vanilla Essence, 3 tea spoons
  • 4 Egg yolks
  • Sugar , 100 grams
  • Cream, 125 milliliters
  • Milk, 375 milliliters



Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until its white.

Boil milk with the essence in a pan.

Whisk on to the eggs and sugar :mix well.

Place on low heat in a sauce pan.

Stir continuously until the mixture coats the back of the spoon.

Pass the mixture through a fine strainer.

Freeze in an ice cream machine, gradually adding the cream thereafter.

Once the cream is finished,continue to cream using the machine until its soft
and slightly hardened.

Serve and enjoy.
