  • Onion, 2 pieces
  • Lemon juice, 5 tea spoons
  • Whole chilli, 1 piece
  • Plantain bananas, matoke, 8 pieces
  • Ghee/ butter, 1 table spoon
  • Beef stock, 2 cups
  • Fresh coriander leaves

Peel the bananas and soak in lukewarm water, with juice of one lemon for two minutes

Melt ghee in a large saucepan.Fry onions, chilli and corriander in ghee fro 3 minutes.

Add bananas and cover with 2 cups of beef stock. simmer for 30-35 minutes

Serve hot
