tumeric rice

  • Rice, 3 kilograms
  • Tumeric powder, 20 grams
  • Oil, 50 milliliters
  • Onion, 250 grams
  • Salt, 50 grams
  • Stock, 6 litres



Stir to the boil and simmer gently until tender for approximately 12-15 minutes

wash well under running water, drain & place on a sieve and cover with a cloth

Place on a tray in moderate oven or in the hot plate untill hot

serve in a vegetable dish separately
