Ingredients

  • Green grams (ndengu), 2 kilograms
  • 5 Carrot
  • 1 Mixed herbs
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Ginger

method

  • Cut onions into rings
  • Put them in a saucepan; fry until brown in color
  • Cut the carrots into slices and add
  • Crush ginger and add into the pan
  • Add a teaspoonful of mixed herbs
  • Add 2 1/2 cups of H2O & bring to boil for 2 min
  • Garnish and serve hot with any choice of accompaniments below

(pasta,rice, chapatis, mashed potatoes)
